Gustav Stickley Early Gustav Stickley 1901 Large Leather Top Library Table accurate replica

Accurate* replica of Gustav Stickley's rare early and large two-drawer library table model #409. A very strong & interesting form with shaped corbels supporting the dramatically overhanging top. The side stretchers are mortised through the legs, ending in atypically crescent shaped tenons. Custom hand hammered copper faceted pulls piercing the cruciform back plates. This example also has the tapered inverted-v apron which is especially rare. We were fortunate to have restored an original around 20 years ago. We fell in love with it then & measured & photographed it extensively in order to offer it to our customers one day. This library table is available in various woods & stain colors and without leather. Price reduced if leather not required.

*As is true with the very earliest of Gustav Stickley's work, the drawers in the original were hand-dovetailed, we chose not to build this table with hand-cut dovetail drawer construction due to the added cost it would create. We will gladly build one with hand-cut dovetails upon request & a fee to compensate for the extra time required.
